Two important
measurements determine the chimney pot size
needed:
the dimension
of the flue tile that exits your chimney, and the
size of your fireplace.
The bottom of
the chimney pot base should fit OVER your flue tile,
but not extend more
than
3/4" into the flue tile opening.
The top opening of the chimney pot should be 1/15 to 1/20 of the
size of
your fireplace opening.
